TLauncher
The most popular launcher in Eastern Europe — works without a paid Minecraft account
1
Download & install TLauncher
Go to tlauncher.org and download the installer for your OS (Windows / macOS / Linux). Run it and follow the setup wizard. On first launch you can play in offline mode — no account required.
2
Install the correct Forge / Fabric version
Open TLauncher and click the version dropdown. Find the version listed on the modpack page (e.g. 1.20.1-Forge-47.2.0). Select it and click Install. Wait for it to finish.
💡 Each modpack page tells you exactly which loader and version to install.
3
Download the modpack archive from CraftHub
Open the modpack page and click ⬇ Download Modpack. You'll get a .zip file. Make sure you have enough free disk space (~5–10 GB per pack).
4
Extract the archive into your .minecraft folder
In TLauncher, click the folder icon next to the installed profile to open the game folder. Extract the archive contents there, merging with existing folders when asked.
Windows: %AppData%\.minecraft\ macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/ Linux: ~/.minecraft/
5
Allocate RAM and launch
In TLauncher settings, go to JVM Arguments and set at least 4 GB of RAM (6–8 GB recommended for large packs). Then hit Play.
-Xmx6G -Xms2G
🔷
Prism Launcher
Free, open-source, ad-free. Supports direct zip import — easiest overall experience
1
Download Prism Launcher
Go to prismlauncher.org and download the version for your OS. Install it and open the app. A Microsoft or offline account is required for login.
2
Download the modpack zip from CraftHub
Click ⬇ Download Modpack on the modpack page. Save the .zip somewhere easy to find.
3
Import the zip into Prism
In Prism Launcher click Add InstanceImport from zip → select the downloaded file. Prism will automatically configure the loader, version and all files.
💡 This is the simplest method — Prism handles everything automatically.
4
Set RAM allocation
Right-click the new instance → EditJVM Settings. Set Max Memory to at least 4096 MB, recommended 6144–8192 MB for large packs.
5
Launch and play
Double-click the instance or hit Launch. First startup takes 2–5 minutes as mods load. Once in-game, open the Quest Book (usually L) to get started.

MultiMC
Minimal, lightweight, no bloat — great for power users
1
Download MultiMC
Go to multimc.org and download for your platform. Extract the folder and run the executable — no installer needed.
2
Download the modpack zip
Click ⬇ Download Modpack on the pack page and save the zip file.
3
Add instance from zip
Click Add InstanceImport from zip or URL → browse to the downloaded archive. MultiMC will unpack and configure it.
4
Set Java and RAM
Right-click the instance → Edit InstanceSettings → Java tab. Set minimum 4096 MB, recommended 6144 MB. Make sure Java 17 is selected for 1.18+ packs.
5
Launch
Double-click the instance to launch. First load takes a while — sit tight.
⚠ Common issues
Game crashes on startup
Make sure you have Java 17 installed. Packs for MC 1.18+ require Java 17, not Java 8 or 21.
White or black screen on launch
Normal — first startup with many mods takes 3–5 minutes. Wait it out.
Out of memory error
Increase RAM allocation. Large packs need at least 6 GB to run without stuttering.
Mods not loading / missing
Make sure you extracted to the correct folder and didn't create a nested subfolder inside .minecraft/.
